a little about me

I loved all my years in the edit room. Looking for those a-ha moments when everything come together to make a story work. Editing documentaries and short form promos helped hone my skills in the best ways to tell a story. In my current role as a Vice President in Creative Services for the Milken Family Foundation, I collaborate with my team of writer/producers to first bring our clients' concepts to the page. I oversee the editors and motion graphics team to deliver high quality videos. Managing a team of creatives is not easy, but being able to bring out their strengths is very rewarding. In addition to the creative side, over the last four years, I have been the main architect in designing workflows and structure for digitizing a video library with hundreds of thousands of assets into CatDV, a digital asset management system. Working with developers, we created an internal system transcription feature to edit and house all transcripts. I am currently working on a separate DAM that will serve as a research library of interviews.
